The best bicycle tools ever!

Hippy, I have about 20 bikes, and they are divided about 50/50 between cotter pins and square-taper. Being in the trade, and therefore immune to marketing shite, i havent gone external or hollowtech. I might go splined by about 2020, cos they will be becoming classic by then.
(Newest bike, 2008 Airnimal, No other bikes post 2000. Oldest bike 1898 Gentlemans Roadster).
Maybe my name should change to Retrogrouch?

I think so retro and please don't put external or splined bb purchases down to marketing hype. Don't even go there. As a cottered crank user from 20 years ago, those little fuckers still haunt me. Pieces of shit that are ok on a classic build but I would rather remove a testicle than have them on any of my bikes now.

Soon I will complete my phasing out of square taper and my life will be complete.. until the next upgrade path of course.
