He's already building fixed gear - they're nice frames actually. I was hoping a bmx builder might be a wee bit cheaper as the frame woould be a bot of an unknown quantity. I'll keep them in mind though...

It may be worth looking at Feather Cycles http://www.feathercycles.com/ Tokyo fixed are selling them for £600 but if you email Ricky he may be able to sort you out with something cheaper (I have no idea if he will do this or not as I dont know him but it is worth a try).

There will be a new BMX-type-construction bike launched this year (around May) with 26" wheels -- rrp affordable: £325ish . www.BigBMX.com. The company is currently recruiting retailers. Its more of a city bike than a BMX enthusiast would like to hop around on or race (tbh) but it looks a lot less like an OAP's bike than most city bikes so they're pretty cool machines for the money.
Tried googling but nowt in the uk. Anyone know anyone that'd be up for building a bigger bike with bmx construction and wouldn't cost me mental money?
