I can't find any references to it being Hi Ten and with the finishing kit i.e Shimano 600 I'd be very surprised if it was. I asked my friend and he told me that it does not have a tubing sticker, looking online Columbus Zeta comes up for this model or possibly Columbus Aelle and this is an early Benotto so quite possibly Italian built.
I asked about the wheels and he said it has "Rims: front Gentleman Super Champion, rear Gazelle (looks good), Hubs: Shimano, Vittoria tires"
