-
• #6
aaah damn my smaller stature!! nice bicycle!
-
• #7
Lovely. I'd snap that up if I had £210.
Bargain.

Looks great Tel. Do you have any details of frame tubing and wheels?
-
• #9
References online describe it as hi ten steel but I couldn't find anything else or even anything to back that up.
-
• #10
I can't find any references to it being Hi Ten and with the finishing kit i.e Shimano 600 I'd be very surprised if it was. I asked my friend and he told me that it does not have a tubing sticker, looking online Columbus Zeta comes up for this model or possibly Columbus Aelle and this is an early Benotto so quite possibly Italian built.
I asked about the wheels and he said it has "Rims: front Gentleman Super Champion, rear Gazelle (looks good), Hubs: Shimano, Vittoria tires"

Is a lovely looking bike either way.

Top link is a very different bike and clearly a lowly spec and the bottom link says it is Columbus Zeta.
And yes I agree it tis a lovely bike...

The 600 with the arabesque decoration is great, but I have to be honest with myself that it's not actually what I'm after. If space was unlimited...

Monday morning price cut £200 delivered to your door and now includes the Rolls saddle!
-
• #16
Too big for y'all eh!?
-
• #17
I paid for a new bike YESTERDAY!! BALLS! I am already Fritzling a couple of bikes from the wife, so yet another wouldn't go down well :( shame it's a real beauty, and I have a soft spot for arabesque 600 stuff.

• #20
I can't believe no-one has snapped this up.
-
• #21
It's a very fair price for a Mexican Benotto.
-
• #22
Has it sold?
-
• #23
Judging by the OP writing SOLD twice in the listing, I'm going to go out on a limb and say 'yes, it is sold'.
-
• #24
Tis indeed sold.
SOLD
My NL friend is selling Big Ben
This is a 63cm x 60cm Modelo 800 with Shimano 600EX Components. In excellent condition with just a few chips and marks as you would expect on a bike of this age.
Rolls saddle will be swapped for the original but the Benotto pump is included!! He thinks that he has some hoods too.
He would like £210 shipped to the UK.
Any questions feel free to ask...
