slightly off-topic, but does anyone know if anyone will be playing any throw-in games nearby during the tournament?

3 of us are coming from brum to play morning throw-ins and watch later on and if we don't get many games in the morning it may be nice to play a few more in the afternoon.

TBH I doubt it. A large proportion of london players are in the tourney. However if you want a knockaround, find others that do too. Then there are courts narby in both directions.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the barriers. 8 people and a ridiculously good driver meant that Mark and Aidan were sat outside shop 14 with beer in hand by 2.30pm. Win.

I think there will be a 'player's area' to keep us penned in from the adoring polo fans, but this will not be officially secured and is more to keep all bikes / players in one area.

I don't think there are any lockers there, so basically, everyone is responsible for the security of their own belongings.

I don't even have a fucking helmet. There goes my throw-ins.

At a guess, you can borrow one for throw ins from another player.

Just not one of the North players, we're all cunts.
