Had a quick spin. Could'nt put it any better than daccordi

Thats what I use and get on with them fine, the float still has a bit of spring in it so they still try to centre your foot which if there set up right its fine. If I was getting road pedals for the first time now I would maybe get speedplay as they have totally free float and a a really low stack height which I kind of care about as I'm really tall.

I found Crank bros Quattros to suit me though (feckin discontinued). But I would'nt have thought these were especially knee friendly.

Cheers daccordi, I'm really confused as to what is worth going for, I suspect I'm going to end up trying to borrow different systems of people to try out.

Do this, and try to go for longer rides to pick-up on hot spots etc.
