To be honest i'm pretty flexible with regards to the day, it's just that Monday has South drinks, Thursday has West drinks, so those are out as there's a few people at each of those that would be up for 11-a-side I think, not sure about Norths though, Sunday I predict a lot of people would be too hungover to play, but like I said I don't really mind, I say we try and get everyone who's interested, have a poll and go with that.

I would be interested - pending day/time

11's also requires at least 22 people.
It might be a bit unrealistic seeing as how the 5's never really got going.
-
• #255
True, I just wanted to use proper studdent boots and you never get grass 5/7-a-side pitches, though 5/7 would still be good.
-
• #256
just do five a side - full size pitches are hard work.....
-
• #257
I'd be well up for an 11 a side. We could do a weekend one off game for a laugh.
-
• #258
South & East vs. North & West grudge match?
-
• #259
I'm definitely up for that!
Then South v Wests for the final.

Pick a date then and meet you on the pitch.
Mick you can warm the bench.

Pride always comes before a fall Dov, remember that =P

I think the new 5/7 a side pitches at Warren st/Euston rd still have quite a few gaps in bookings as they have only just opened. Run by Power league. Central so could be good for peeps coming from all over. Just a thought.

right. mick, it's in your hands. pick a day that isn't wednesday. if you get the plasticky astroturf, you can wear smaller studs on those.
there's pitches at barnes, balham, wandsworth that i know of.

If i'm the one planning it then sorry guys but the earliest I can do is the new year, load of uni shit to take care of before xmas. I say we try and get some numbers interested and then pick a day, 2 of my flatemates are up for it, then you, Dov, i'm sure Pip will be up for it when he gets back, Jonny and that leaves us with 3 people to get, shouldn't be too hard.

Pip's probably out, injured more than Johnathon Woodgate.
Apparantly he bruises easier than a banana.

That's the pitches I was thinking about booking for it, like I said it won't be until the new year at earliest but just wanted to make sure the location is alright for everybody, apparently they're really good pitches and it's pretty central.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays aren't good by the look of it, Saturdays are football days..
Anyone got a problem with Thursdays?
-
• #275

Bit late innit?
