2010-04-25 Sun 6am - London Marathon Ride

Do we really have to start so early? I mean, I know it's meant to be traditional for cyclists to be early risers but, going by track record of forum members, I think we've evolved! Did the earlier guys start at 7am from Blackheath last year?

We ended up leaving about 7.15-30 last time, this might have been a little late as we got stopped a couple of times by police and told to get off the course, even disrupting the start of one of the wheelchair races. An earlier start would mean me would avoid most of this and get to sprint down the mall! 6 might be a bit early though, I dunno...
