I have gave this poster to a lots of shop and kebab place within the vicinity, asking them NOT to post it up, but to merely keep them in case they spotted someone riding it.
I also told them the reward in person too, (the same to all the bike shop within the vicinity as well), I only put it up in selected place like in CSM for example.
I didn;'t put it up around town knowing that if the theives saw it, they'll either try and hide it/destory it/or even try and return them to me claiming that they found it and pick up the reward.
Yeah, that makes perfect sense. I don't think they'd destroy them but you could imagine them stashing them away for a few months until they think it's safe again.

edscoble - what font is that?
I has no idea, the missus quickly made that poster to distributed it as much as possible within the vicinity.
the last thing on her mind was to design it properly.

Century Gothic?
It's not Century Gothic. Quite unusual looking actually. At first I thought it was a Futura varient or Relay maybe... but the 'E' and the '0'... No idea.
Fascinating.

Is anyone in Souths missing a modern white and celeste Bianchi road bike?
Saw one being ridden extremely erratically around the Kennington area by an unlikely looking chap (hob nail boots and deerstalker hat) who I had a bit of verbals with. Quite rude he was too. -

Stolen 2007 green/blue Kona Paddy Wagon from in front of Park Plaza Hotel Westminster Bridge.
3 o'clock this afternoon. I was working on bar and had an odd feeling. Went down to check bike that was locked up on bike racks in front of main entrance under half a dozen cameras!
Security looking through cctv...Worst thing is bike is a friends I was borrowing. He leant it to me whilst in Australia for a year, so insurance is screwed. Anyone know how I could go about this in terms of insurance? I know his family will have full bike insurance. Made Police report and report with hotel security.
So stupid to use only cable lock as mine was at friends. Thought cameras and presence of so many people including doormen would be enough of a deterrent !
Brick Lane Sunday morning my best bet ?
Only defining feature of bike is a scuffed right handle from a crash a week ago.
If you see it buy it and tell me !Horrible horrible feeling. Sucks.

Not sure whether this is the right place to post, just that this gumtree ad as well as the poster's previous adverts appear a bit dodge?

technically that IRO is singlespeed.
it is a random advert, feel like it's stolen, but doesn't sound like a typical theft.

Hey guys,
Had my bike nicked in hackney from my building along with 4 others in my building.
Very distinctive with yellow and blue aerospokes and matte black frame.http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/fkg13/IMG_4920.jpg
One of the others was a specialized langster monaco in amazing condition. Think this is it on gumtree. -

My friend has had his MTB stolen this morning (along with 6 other bikes) in a secure lockup where he lives. He's going to give me the details soon which I'll post.
Reckon we'll head to Brick Lane tomorrow AM, though I haven't been scouting for bike there for a couple of years, is it still head there about 9 to look for it? Also, do those cycle police still do the rounds? Anyone got their details?
Cheers.

So sorry for anyone who's had a bike stolen recently.. If it had a D lock I suggest you contact Ofcom as Nick Ferrari on LBC recently gave plenty of air time to someone who gave precise details of how to break into one. Ofcom's verdict to me was that he could not be prosecuted as he ended the piece with 'Don't go off and steal bikes'. Too late..

Just done my morning run down to Brick Lane. The horrible asian couple who are there every week have a Fuji Feather Frame and a Wilier La Triestina frame! Also saw a condor commuter and a Trek full suspension downhill bike.
