if it's too short to get a stem on, it's too short to get that extender on.
If it's simply a matter of comfort, then those work.
Pretty ugly though.
I used that exact one on my bar crawling, fender bearing, beat up, sure you can borrow it, dented bike.

So? I canĀ“t think of a reason it should not work with a threadless fork. Would not try it with a carbon steerer tube though.

i see your point, but thats not the intended purpose of that thing.
also, if it's an aluminum steerer tube, it certainly won't work because the inner diameter won't be correct.
if it's steel, i hope the inner diameter of the steerer tube is correct.
