I don't get the forks it would need? Is it just 650's up front?
-
• #23753
You got a fork for it? I think it would look good with a tight lugged steel track fork, in the same yellow.

I'm not sure, it had a 700c citybike shitty shit fork, that was WAY to long, the chainstay was horizontal... But I guess a track 700c could give it a nice geometry.. But I'm counting on Tonny knowing that..
All Tornado trackbikes I have seen in Denmark have had straight blade track forks.
Like this one here;

would be better with a straight, fat flat blade carbon jobbie.

That's what I thought at first... you're probably right, Turts.

Pulled the weirdo bike apart, so now it's weirdo frame-only..
Somebody has been gene-splicing Trek, Specialized and Obree.

Electro... Have a good look at that frame cos the photo looks like it's had a 'header' Fork looks bent back. Check carefully!
Otherwise, a nics bike.Cheers, noticed that a while ago alright, looked like a good find at first, but the fork is well fucked, and it's not remotely worth €100, so I'll have to keep looking. :(

due to the demand (whining and moaning really) i put the finished faggin up. i like it a lot, the way it looks now and feels when let loose. it just so wants to go. enjoy!
absolutely love this. what's going on with the back wheel though? is it four white spokes laced into it? and what's the rim, is the chunk of silver a design on the rim or just a sticker? love it

Forum sponsor came up trumps on spokes, wheels may be cheaper than I first thought! More purple things anyone?

anyway just spoke to the painter. If i'm going powder coat I have to stick to darker colors otherwise it will look like plastic. I really don't like powder coating for that reason, but he assured me that darker colors will look almost identical to paint, so i think I'm going to do with a very deep dark dried blood color. black decals.
one word; glitter.

Shit dude. hope you're okay.
Your arm looks like a chicken drumstick!
Did you get a reg number? Police report?
There can only be one.... (I'm pretty sure there is only one actually)
Tonny Tornado still builds bikes, and he still uses that yellow color.. :)
maxcrowe, as I said my hooligan disc-wheel, the "noisy as fuck" aluminum challenger matches the color perfectly... I'm getting a track converter for it soon ;)
I hope that old Tonny has some photos of the original build though...
