That's interesting, it's amazing that Fred Baker haven't changed their emblem in over 30 years! Not my favourite bike shop TBH, although it's like a tardis inside!
My parents both had custom made Overburys MTB's which really are Bristol history. The Overburys shop is looking a bit sorry for itself if i remember correctly!
My ex wife was a student at the now defunct Bath Academy of Art in Corsham and i always angled to visit Fred Baker's shop but never quite made it...so it is nice to see a frame with his name [even if *he *did not make it]is good to see....as a one from Leytonstone, my loyalty is to HR Morris and Frank Lipscome both of Walthamstow.
Overbury's were well known in the 1980s but have disappeared from the radar since and most definetly are part of recent Bristol cycle history.
