    but I want to stick the parts on something a touch longer and bigger. Anyone suggest any frames that'll take a good beating - it's worth noting that most dirt/jump frames have too short seat tubes so I can't put the saddle up as fra as I need (it's fixed not s/s)

    Loads of trick riders are moving over to 26" wheels now on normal trick/track frames. 26" wheels and some fat tyres will easy take you up to the outside diameter of 700x23c, so you won't have any BB height problems.
