Mine has so far survived Pigfarmer lauching a chainring shuriken attack on the toptube....tough stuff.

FFS, not this shit again! Guess fucking what? Steel breaks. Aluminium breaks. Why even titanium breaks.
As far as I know the only safe material that never breaks is unobtanium. Tynan has some but it's eye wateringly expensive.

.....Or the carbon is wonderful / new carbon bike is wonderful thread.
Got a better ride out on the new steed this evening and must say, carbon is bloody great. Silly responsive, quick and comfy. You feel a little surge with every pedal stroke when mashing a big gear. Me like.
Anyone else embracing the dark side for the first time this year?
