Quick question but there used to be a bike shop in Upper Clapton called Chain Gang cycles. It was run by a fella called Darren, decent guy, early MTB champ, who also built frames. I know it closed down maybe 6 years ago, but does anyone have details of where he went? I found this list of frame builders:

And I happen to know he lived in Essex, so was his surname Barber?
He made great frames but I particularly liked a hardtail mtb that incorporated a bottle opener on the chain stay - a great detail meaning you could open a beer with the bike
