  • The root of the problem is - there's no such an offence like jaywalking in the UK.
    As citizens we are being trusted too much. People assume, that's fine to quickly run across the street.
    Even worse with those little fuckers who are leaders not followers/you can't tell me what to do/I have to stand up for myself types.

    In other countries if you attempt to cross the road on the red light, you are killed dead and fined on top of that.

    ps. As I grew up in a funny country, where there was no meat in the shops and making political jokes could mean the end of your professional carrier or a stretch in jail, there were few perks of free education. I did cycling proficiency course while at the primary school and a driving licence for cars, vans and motorbikes while at the college. Fun times. It's easier to pass the test when the whole class is taking it.
