Brian Rourke used to be about the only UK source of Assos back in the day (i.e. mid 1980s), I seem to recall the rims were 16mm wide and I think there were 16mm tubulars to go with them. I'm guessing they were as expensive as you'd expect from Assos, because I settled for Mavic CX18 rims and Wolber Record 18 Piste tubulars for my best wheels, C-Record hubs and ACI elliptical spokes, natch.
