  • don't forget speeding. When I'm driving I can see that the huge majority of drivers are speeding most of the time!

  • Never stop for the pigs on a push bike.

just out of curiosity, what would happen if you didnt? would that be the same as if you didnt stop for them when driving? im presuming it is ...

  • Great point from CTC about cycling training in Westminster schools.

can you encapsulate it for us please?, missed the show. friends work in W.minster schools.

This has been discussed before, but basically involves radios and radios are faster than you.

    Speak for yourself...

CTC criticized Westminster council for merely chasing after cyclists. CTC said they provide 12 x less cycle training for young people than Islington for example, yet they are most vocal about a jumped red light. CTC suggested Westminster Council should first invest in training young cyclists to obey the laws, then go after the law breakers...

He made the point very well. Cllr Angela Harvey has to be the biggest A-Hole in London.

  • yup, that sounds on the button from what I hear too.
The politics of training provision in schools is unbelievable, for something so essential there are so many parties involved.
safe to say that Islington are one of the better Councils.

  • NO stream for this then? I love hearing anti-cyclists getting their comeuppance.

  • Hate to C+ this but fundamentally I think the problem cyclist’s in London face is one of visibility. Everybody, more or less drives/rides/walks in a selfish fashion, we all know that your average car driver accelerates through the amber jabbering on the phone to some reactionary shock jock whilst eating a Cadburys Whisper. I know I do.
Peds use their mobiles in the same way that Batfink depended on his wings /shield of steel, except Batfink had wings of steel & was not real.
Cyclist’s piss of motorists, no doubt, their heinous crimes visible to all and sundry, their anger increasing in proportion to the amount of cyclists who inhabit what used to be their exclusive space. In the mid 80s cyclists in town where a rare bread indeed.
The trick is to keep dog eye for the boys n girls in fluro lime, don’t ride like a shabby cocktard & have a nice day.
Sorry for the C+ & inevitable grammatical errors.

  • how many minutes in does it kick off?

  • somewhere after 42

  • 49min to be precise, cheerz.

  • 49:20 to be precise ;)

  • pft.

  • when it stops, kicks off again at 1.16

  • That was me... didn't go as well as planned. Hard not to swear at the righteous pot stirring host.

    aight john!

  • At 40 secs a bike goes through a red light, and so does a 7.5t lorry.
Which one do the pigs stop?

    @1.17 - scary WPC/sergeant type woman plod

  • Good to have media coverage, kill all pavements cyclists in the face, etc.

But that 7.5 ton truck going straight past the red, in front of a team of officers and video cameras! AAAHHHHHHGHHGGHGH FUCKING DO SOMETHING!! Does my head in.

  • well done, ufrasia, btw, you come across as a roaduser just trying to get to work, and wondering why drivers are so adversarial! very reasonable. You're right on the money with drivers' frustration.

I assume you can make out the number plate? Has anyone reported this to the police? I don't see how they could not follow this up. The evidence is there.

  • Jeez, Jeez.
I am in no way disputing that cyclists are morally, environmentally and socially superior to the rest of the human race and no doubt have a God given right to do as they please, in all walks of life. Although I believe it could be disputable.
What I am saying is that when they do it on their bikes they are “highly visible” to the lesser mortals. It’s difficult to covertly jump the lights at Oxford Circus or cycle Wardour against the traffic.
What I am saying is that we are a highly visible, easy target and with that in mind we should have eyes in our arses if we wish to avoid the indignity of a public dressing down and a £30 fine.
Any ways up this is C+ shit I’m of down Brick Lane the wrong way with my tiny little cock hangin out of my oh so tight jeans.
