We were able to see the preview on Wed. I had low expectations. But there was booze.
But I have to say I was surprised. It’s not a film about Banksy at all.
It’s about a guy called Thierry Guetta who is the cousin of that invader guy. (dude who sticks those invader mosaics up everywhere.) Thierry starts filming his cousin putting his invaders up, and in doing so meets and befriends Monsieur Andre, OBEY, Bansky, Zeuss, etc and films them too.
Thierry Ends up with 10 years of footage, attempts to make a movie. It turns out shit. So Bansky goes through all the footage and makes said documentary about street art and Thierry.
