Next Tuesday: do you have any plans? Have you already thought about what you will be doing or are you adopting a 'wait and see' approach?

Will, I'm not sure I get what you're getting at, or are you just mocking this discussion for the sake of it? There are plenty of other threads you clearly aren't interested in that are far riper for a pisstaking.

Josh is a Tory bastard. ;)
I have no default allegiance actually and I feel pretty stuck on this. To be honest I'm pissed off with party politics generally.

The Rapture: what plans are you making for the end of the world? Are you confident you will be among the saved?

I'm quite left leaning but feel the same way you do about party politics in general. I have very little faith that Labour in their current guise will do much but I have even less faith in the conservatives.

I fear the apathy party will get in again.

@ Wibble: In that case then what? Vote for someone else? Not vote? Vote Conservative to at least make a change? All shit options.

I remain to be convinced that left or right even comes into it these days.

Xmas 2010 is just around the corner. What will you be buying this year?
not too early am I?The London Olympics: who will you be cheering for? And have you made your sandwiches yet?
The Rapture: what plans are you making for the end of the world? Are you confident you will be among the saved?

The general election; it's months away but let's talk about it now. Do you have any ill considered ideas you'd like to share; maybe you'd like to let the forum know that you don't really know what you think or make some hand-me-down quip about party politics being crap.

get off your high horse Will..

Oh FFS; this thread is laughably premature. At the earliest the election will be the beginning of May. What's the point of this discussion now; no one even knows that the Tory's policies are yet, for example. It's just a fucking stupid thread to have in the last week of February. And people complain that General Election campaigns drag on...

No reason why we can't discuss politics and the election now. If you don't want to participate in this thread properly, please don't post in it.

I would vote Labour but the Labour party ceased to exist after John Smith died.
any cabinet members who gave a toss about other people and weren't self serving conceited cunts in the pockets of big business were marginalised and made innefectual apart from a few token 'lefties' given specific jobs involving aid or peace. -

I'll vote for whoever [st]invades[/st] liberates the Isle of Man.

Will, I'm not sure I get what you're getting at.
You do, after all, seem to be spectacularly thick.
I know you won't mind me saying that...
