  • More flat tires for Matt again ???

  • Yeah, just the three today (sadly this is true), may need to shell out for new tyres. Phil's tacoed back wheel 1 minute into the first game, Gav's new footstrap coming off and Ed's broken brake

  • There's like 35 teams in the MCR tornament, some (one) of which we've beaten before + loads of cities without polo pedigree. Fuck it, I'm going. Two others prepared to come with? 18th April

  • a tentative yes from me.....

  • ah go on then matt.

  • I am 100% in

  • Knew you'd all cave. Awesome. two more and we've got two teams, hmmm... Pete, Gave, Ed... First round battle to the death?

  • Going back on my caving in I've just realised that the tweed run is the week before and whilst I'd like to do both, my budget (and time) will only stretch to one and being as I wanted to do the tweed run last year and didn't, now is the time. Sorry guys !

  • i'll go! we should play in a tweed uniform if possible.

  • anyone game for sunday then instead?

  • cant sunday, and i broke my polo bike today! better get a new one sorted sharpish

  • Have a few feet of yellow pipe for mallet heads if anyone needs some. I could do with a couple of ski poles or similar for shafts/handles for me and me bruv if anyone knows of any.

  • Never played bike polo before, pretty up for giving it a shot though. I can imagine it taking ages to comfortable playing, iv watched some videos and it looks well hard.

  • nahh youll get the hang of it quick, now is a good time to come down though as no one has been playing for a while and new people are starting.

  • im bang up for it like, i'll bring a couple of mates if their interested too.

  • I'm up for it on Sunday, but would possibly have to be the afternoon.

  • Me and Dave prob turn up too. At Gosforth?

  • Hello - do you lot usually play on Sundays? I'm up from London for the AV festival, weekend of the 13th ... was thinking about slinging the bike on the train. Where do you play?

  • We don't usually play anytime at the minute, but I'm sure we can get a game organised for that Sunday.

  • cool, would be nice to meet some of you lot and play somewhere new.

  • I can't play tomorrow sadly, unless we go for afternoon (floodlit?)... should be free from about 4. Not the greatest weather - take a view on it in the morning?

Otters, would be good to see a London face up. Sure we can get a game together that weekend.
