  • Are you that confident in your moral superiority to call a simple bent-employee type thief, scum?

oh you mean he was stealing from his place of work? not from people's bicycle on the street? that I did misunderstood.

we are riding on a thin white slippery line... soon we will be discussing whether or not halfords deserves human rights. so yeah, who is gonna take care of hal, Damn.

    Lol, I think I over-reacted too!

Ive gained a certain empathy for criminals lately, I just cant help it.

  • ed hes a good guy just abit easily lead white lines blow away

  • Good luck with the job Guy.

I used to work in Halfords when I too was way into BMX. They used to do some great staff discount on stuff that they sometimes only ordered in, such as Mongooses (rare at the time), Skyways and even Redline Flights (Google em). Props for wanting to use it to help out your scene. Who knows, maybe the experience you get there will help you open your own shop someday...

Even so, £60,000 worth of product isn't exactly victim free, I think what makes the difference is that he sold it for a profit. Half-inching the odd inner-tube or spare part would be a bit different

I stole parts and gloves and stuff for my mates, does that make me like some kinda robin hood figure?

  • No, that makes you a criminal. Just like everyone under nu-labour, now that they've finally criminalised everything.

EDIT: Theft has been a crime for a shite sight longer than since '97, by the way.

  • Idiot though isn't he? Nicking £10,000 worth of stuff a month is going to get noticed.

I'd have given him £35 for the Boardman though :-)
