Hate to C+ this but fundamentally I think the problem cyclist’s in London face is one of visibility. Everybody, more or less drives/rides/walks in a selfish fashion, we all know that your average car driver accelerates through the amber jabbering on the phone to some reactionary shock jock whilst eating a Cadburys Whisper. I know I do.
Peds use their mobiles in the same way that Batfink depended on his wings /shield of steel, except Batfink had wings of steel & was not real.
Cyclist’s piss of motorists, no doubt, their heinous crimes visible to all and sundry, their anger increasing in proportion to the amount of cyclists who inhabit what used to be their exclusive space. In the mid 80s cyclists in town where a rare bread indeed.
The trick is to keep dog eye for the boys n girls in fluro lime, don’t ride like a shabby cocktard & have a nice day.
