At 40 secs a bike goes through a red light, and so does a 7.5t lorry.
Which one do the pigs stop?

  • ^nice spot.

  • The lady on at the moment is talking a lot of sense.

  • That was me... didn't go as well as planned. Hard not to swear at the righteous pot stirring host.

  • Excellent! Well I think you did very well considering - you got the point across that it is very adversarial and motorists all think they're on a F1 track, and it's that which makes people break the rules to improve their safety. Great that a lfgsser got on anyway.

  • is this available for streaming?

  • It's still on now, I think, they keep alternating with homeopathy but I think it's about to swap back now?

I emailed them as at work so couldn't ring.

  • oooo i'm listening. homeopathy it is.

  • Cant believe that lorry jumped the lights in front of police and there was a film crew to catch it. They must have followed up on that.

  • hahaha! the current woman talking for minutes about how she was failed by the nhs for eczema...tried homeopathy blah blah...i was expecting "it really cleared up!"...and it was "it did nothing"

  • here we go.

  • Great point from CTC about cycling training in Westminster schools.

  • +1 to no cycling on the pavement.

fox was that you the read out email?

and stand at any major junction for five minutes and witness many vehicles breaking the law you twat! who is more likely to kill/injure someone?

who's stupid enough to rlj in front of a bunch of policemen? They deserve bloody fines

  • there's a package on "London Tonight" at 7.30 this evening. Going to be plenty of ranting about how many times cyclists break the law. Just don't ask how many drivers speed or talk on the phone etc...

    Inside Out London
    22/02/2010

Former Top Gear presenter Adrian Simpson asks if pedal power has gone too far.

  • nice one BBC... top-notch job as always.

  • hummmm depending on how this goes, i may write to the bbc asking them to do a piece on what proportion of drivers are doing something illegal, no insurance, no licence, no mot, using the phone, not wearing a seatbeat, stopping in ASL's, driving wrong way up one way roads, passing cyclists too close, poor use of the horn, drink driving, drug driving, etc etc.

pretty sure i encounter at least one of these kinds every day.
