When not using the dynohub powered eye-searing Solidlights (1203D-XB2) I use two B&M Ixon IQ. One on the 'city mode' half power setting is enough for most roads (especially for DD timed for maximum moonlight). It goes onto full power for tricky surfaces or descents and the second one is a backup or for very tricky descents. Used them for LEL and had no problems and lots of compliments about the light they shove out.
