I had some of the cheapest eggbeaters which were ace. very floaty, but still secure. I fell off though, and the pedal hit the road first and damaged the (loose cos it was the cheapest) bearings and they were knackered then. not user servicable (unless you buy more expensive ones). i'd buy more if had any money, but i was broke so i got some 2nd hand shimano pedals off ebay and they do the job. (actually first i got some cheap candys off the 'bay but the bearign went in them too). I'd get more eggbeaters if they knackered though.
