Removing cranks is not easy. I find that wearing a pair of gloves helps me get a bit more torque. Also. It's easier to squeeze the crank arm and extractor arm together if you have an angle of 45-60º. If you're angle is near 180º you're not really going to get anywhere. Loosen off the tool and try again.
