I just put some on my winter bike and if I'm honest, I don't feel particularly secure in them. They are the first clipless pedals I've ever used but I do still miss the feeling of having the flat section of a pedal under the ball of my foot. I'm terrified of standing up because I can just picture myself swiveling out them and eating the pavement. I think that's just a noobie thing though.
Overall, I like them. I think I'd feel different about them if I didn't use them on a fixed gear.
