I have lost faith in Armadillos. They used to wear evenly but my 4th tyre have now developed the same fault whereby the rubber has prematurely separated from the canvas. l'm not a big skidder and less than 700miles I doubt this is due to a dodgy batch as this is over 2yr period and a few riders up ere have suffered the same problem.
Gonna try the Vittoria Paves next.
