I watched my father suffer and deteriorate health wise over a period of two to three years my mother stood by and cared for him even though he ended up in a home, he died when I was 11. I just hope that I don't have to suffer as much and it does make me think about my will or setting up a living will as I don't want my partner or children to have to worry about what moral decisions they have to make.

This topic is dogdy shit at best ...

Unless it is done through a lawful process I would be sceptical at anyone who said they "assisted a suicide" ... that person could have easily have murdered the person. This is why I think it is still illegal here?
