I have my homemade one you are very welcome to use - works fine but I've only used it to press back in cups that have already been in place before.... if it's a new headset you're installing you're probably best using a proper one. SE1 btw

i went to my local charity bike shop and htey fitted the headset cups in minutes - so i bunged them a few quid.

i've used the chairty bike shop for bits that i can't do myself....alwasy while i've waited
they've just sold a really good condition holdsworth avanti for 90. i know it's 501 but was really good nick. -
