London to Cambridge (at least the Bike Events one) is normally later in the year and a very well organised 'proper' event. Is this a new one?

me and lee are thinking of doing the london to cambridge ride for BHF -anyone fancy it?.....given that I havent been on my bike for longer than 15 miles, i might need to start coming to thursday night rides...who likes to go at a slower pace??

Unless I'm going blind, there is no mention of the Londaon to Cambridge ride on the BHF site.
As far as I am aware, the ride is organised by Bike Events with entry fees (£18 individual or £17 per member for teams of 6 or more) going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. At least that is the one I am taking part in on July 25th.

I'll be joining you all again on thursdays in acouple of weeks for the first outing since beggaring up my knee in Egypt last November. After convincing the hospital to not chop my leg into little pieces like they usually do, I'm finally back in the saddle.

I'm going to see Feb's band ( AC MARS )play along with a few others at the Portland immediately after the thursday nite ride . They are on at 9pm , anyone else welcome it's a few quid to get in though .

OT: has anyone got a camcorder i could borrow for the weekend?

something with a good picture quality, maybe HD even if possible.

I have a Flip video ultra. Can only record 1hr of video and uses standard AA batteries but the picture quality is pretty good. I'm sure you will find something better though...

how good is pretty good? do you know the resolution in pixels?
