    I chose "other" and stated actual enforcement of traffic law for ALL road users being of a better help to cyclists.

    After all, if motors gave us room and behaved as the highway code says, we would be fine, if pedestrians took heed of the guidelines in the highway code we would be fine..etc..

    Cycle training is all well and good, but who's going to pay for it if it's compulsory? and will it stop uninsured drivers talking on phones from ramming us at the lights?

  • The poll is far too limited to be of any use. I put a near-essay into the 'Other' field, the only place in it where you can say something sensible, really. The person who designed the poll clearly doesn't have the faintest clue about the relevant policy areas.

  • Yeah I put other as well - went off on one about attitudinal changes of drivers to be more like European drivers wrt cyclists
