CLAUD BUTLER MAJESTIC TOURING BIKE c1984
    Seat Tube (ctt): 60cm (23.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
    Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531
This is an excellent very lightly use example of Claud Butler’s top touring bike from the early 1980s which is in exceptional condition. The paintwork is virtually unmarked and none of the components shows any significant wear. It is equipped with a Stronglight 99 chainset Suntour ARX GT gears, Madison G12 saddle ( considered to be one of the best touring saddles in the 80s) and a fantastic SR Royal handlebar stem £185 SOLD

    DENTON (MERCIAN) ROAD FRAME c1980
    Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 42mm)
    Bottom bracket threads: English
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Dentons are a Newcastle bike shop - I was told that this frame was built by Mercian for them. It is is certainly a very nicely made road frame with quite tight clearances. The paintwork is in generally excellent condition with only a relatively small number of marks none of which are at all obtrusive. An excellent frame for singlespeed or fixed conversion. reduced to £120

    CBT ITALIA ROAD FRAME c1994
    Seat Tube (ctc): 49cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 51cm
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 45mm
This is a rather unusual CBT Italia frame which uses a very distinctive fluted tubing. It is in excellent condition with almost unmarked paintwork and the long horizontal dropouts mean that it will make an easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. reduced to £155

    VIKING VISION ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 55cm (21.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27in or 700C (brake drop of 52mm with 700C wheel)
    Seatpost size: 26.8mm
    Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531
This is a very late Viking from the early 1980s - its in quite tidy condition but the paint has been extensively retouched. Its nicely built from Reynolds 531 plain gauge tubing and will make an excellent budget conversion. £49 SOLD

    RAULER 61cm c1980
    Seat Tube (ctc) : 61cm (24in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 59cm (23.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 46mm)
    Bottom bracket threads: Italian
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This c1980 Rauler frame is of really gorgeous quality - the lugs are beautifully cut out and the brazing is very clean. The frame is in excellent condition. Greg Softley (Ebay gts753) does reproduction transfers.

Rauler was founded in the 1970s by Raul and Reclus Gozzi Brothers. One or both brothers worked for Colnago before starting up the Rauler marquee. It is not know just what the relationship with Ernesto was, but what is known that the name Rauler is from Raul and the first two letters of Ernesto, hence Rauler. Rauler became one of the top contract builders for Colnago and did much of the pantographing for them as well. It has been repainted not especially well but would be quite useable. There are no dents or dings I can see. And with horizontal dropouts could easily be converted to singlespeed or fixed. **reduced to £165**

    MBK PRO NEW OLD STOCK
Seat Tube (ctc): 54cm (56.5cm ctt)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22.25in (56.5cm)
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
Front Brake drop with 700C wheel: 46mm
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
    Wheel size: 700C
This is a rather nice NOS MBK frame from the early 1990s built from Vitus tubing which is ovalised at the bottom bracket. The top tube takes the rear brake cable in a slot along the length of the top tube's underside – very neat and cool. The semi-vertical dropouts should mean that a fixed or single-speed conversion should not be too difficult. £73

    PEUGEOT ROAD FRAME 1980s
    Seat Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
    Rear dropout width: 122mm
Brake drop with 700C wheel: 49mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Peugeot made very nice budget road frames in the 1970s/80s - this one has very good paint. The rear dropout width and horizontal dropouts make it an ideal candidate for a budget conversion to fixed or singlespeed. £29 SOLD

UNKNOWN MAKE ROAD FRAME 1960s Probably Reynolds 531 Plain gauge
    Seat Tube (ctt): 60cm (23.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 65mm)
    Bottom bracket threads: English
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 plain gauge
    Seatpost size: 26.6mm
This is a rather nice 1960s road frame which has been hand painted in red. Its almost certainly bukilt from Reynolds 531 plain gauge tubing - the lugs are the same as some 1960s Claud Butlers but I don’t think it’s a Claud. An excellent frame for singlespeed or fixed conversion. £39

    DON FARRELL ROAD FRAME 1962/3
    Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 21.75in (55.5cm)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s, Sprints or 700C with a brake drop of 57mm
    Seatpost size 27.2mm
Don Farrell was a very well liked bike shop in north London for many years and their frames were built by a number of builders - this one was built by Wally Green. It has recently been repainted with new I think repro decals. The rear dropouts are Campagnolo long making it ideal for singlespeed or fixed wheel use. reduced to £110

    BIANCHI FAVONIUS ROAD FRAME c1993
    Seat Tube (ctc): 56cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 55cm
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Frame tubing: Oria
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 45mm
This early 1990s Bianchi is built from one of the more budget Oria tubing sets. Its in very sound condition and the paintwork though it has quite a number of marks is very useable. The headset dustcover has a small section missing. The horizontal dropouts mean that that it is ideal as a single speed or fixed conversion. £55 SOLD
