CHAS ROBERTS TRACK FRAME c1978
Seat Tube (ctt): 60cm (23.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C front and rear (brake drop of approx 38mm!)
Bottom bracket threads: English
Frame Tubing: Columbus SL
This is one of very coolest track frames I have seen in a long while. Built by Chas Roberts from Columbus SL tubing I would think around 1978. It is I think designned as a sprinter’s frame , the clearances are really, really tight... There will of course be toeclip overlap. The detailing is just superb and it looks so right. The paint is generally excellent with just a few small marks. £275 SOLD

Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted

This is a great small road frame from Witcombs. The ruby red paint is in generally very good condition though the white is tatty in places. It will make a very easy singlespeed or fixed conversion. £85 SOLD

This is a really nice early 90s Condor road frame built for them by Dave Yates from Reynolds 653 tubing. Its really nicely detailed and comes complete with good headset and BB. The paint is generally very good with just a few small marks. £175 SOLD

DAWES SUPER GALAXY FRAME c1985

Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 55mm)
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Dawes Super Galaxy was their top touring frame and was built from Reynolds 531 double butted frame; its from the middle 1980s. The paint is distinctly tatty. Has horizontal dropouts so will make an easy conversion. £65 SOLD

GAZELLE REYNOLDS 753 ROAD FRAME c1980

Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: 700C with 50mm brake drop
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 753
Bottom Bracket Threads: British
Gazelle top road frames are really rather special and exceptionally well built. This one very unusually is built from Reynolds 753 tubing and hence is very light. It has in the past been repainted very nicely in two shades of grey and this paint is in generally very good condition. £195 SOLD

HOLDSWORTH ROAD FRAME c1980
Seat Tube (ctt): 55cm (21.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double-butted
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is a very sound Holdsworth road frame from around 1980. The black paint is very scruffy and it has been extensively and badly touched up but it would look really good given a repaint. Suitable forks should be quite easy to find. £45 SOLD

JOHN PERKS ROAD FRAME 1980s

Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)

Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 47mm)
Seatpost size: 26.6mm
John Perks is a Birmingham cycle shop - I do not know who built this frame but its really quite nice. Its probably built from Reynolds 531 plain gauge tubing judging by the seatpost size and weight. The paintwork is very sound. Has horizontal dropouts so will make an easy conversion. £55
