no bumping without price drop
price already reasonably low, it cost £475 brand new.
-
• #13
Naughty bump Mr. Ed!
You should have bought a custom, you could have had the paul track ends (that don't really work) and it would have fitted you.
-
• #14
it's cheaper than custom actually because I wanted the dimple seat tube and flat crown fork.
-
• #15
No. Full custom from Bob Jackson features fluted seat tube and any sort of fork you like also paul dropouts and any paintjob you want at all for £100 more than a standard build. Only extras are fancier lugs and chrome. Mine was £ 468 delivered, took about 3 Months.
now what are those bars for two bumps?
-
• #16
what wheels are those Ed, CXP33's?

the 'fluted seat tube' and flat crown were definitely worth the extra dollar....just hope someone else is as passionate as you are

PRICE DROP
Got to happen either way, I'm selling a fairly used Bob Jackson Vigorelli Brick Lane Bikes edition frame, the measurment is 57cm top tube and 57cm seat tube, the claimed max clearance for tyres is 28c but I managed to put a 32c without any fuss, partly because of the longer track end, the difference between this Vigorelli to the other is the dimple seat tube (pictured), flat crown fork, and paul track end which are usually only available on custom build, I included an Ofmega headset that go well with the frame, and a Miche Primato bottom bracket that's still got plenty of life in it.
it got quite a bit of chips because it's being used as a bicycle rather than something to push down Brick Lane wearing florescence clothing, must've clocked about 4,000 miles on it since I purchase it in spring 2009, the frame is perfectly sound.
Price is £320, collect either from Wimbledon, Waterloo or Clerkenwell.
