DT wiss hubs are always good, and always expensive. Tune are a very popular brand amongst the weight weenie crew. I have a roadie wheel plan, which will use either Tune or M5 hubs. It involves lacing a 32 hole rear hub to a 24 hole rim, by using only 8 of the non drive side hub drillings. Its a nice idea (comes originally from campag wheels I think). It works well with Tune hubs as they have clever flange geometry (Tune allegedly now provide a specifically drilled rear hub for this lacing pattern).
The full freehub version of the Tune hubs has a larger drive side flange to even out the spoke bracing angles on each side. I'm trying to work out why the single speed has the opposite flange configuration. knowing Tune there'll be a cunning plan behind it.
