Every day there is 'discussion' about the merit of starting threads, every single day
Oh, of course--although it's mostly about silly threads, not about one meant to be quite serious, surely?
and it is often these discussions that are the most personal and abusive; as you well know from the last couple of days alone.
What happened? I haven't had much forum time, just dipped into and out of threads.
The point I was making was, I think, was about realising that just because someone is a particular 'hero' of your's it doesn't mean they merit their own thread when there is an already existing RIP thread. I guess it's about perspective.
Probably. I don't know, I suppose I might well start a separate thread if someone died and it affected me, but others might not. It's always going to be a bit random. I've certainly found the occasional thread very interesting where someone posted about someone I'd never heard about.
