this morning about 8.30 in peckham, by the library, spotted a dude on a black track frame with very narrow risers having an argument with a driver who then got out, went to the back of his car and got a chain out. he was obviously a bit of a nut and was extremely aggressive so you did the right thing to tell him to calm down and then leave, promptly. I was the guy you chatted with for a few minutes after. hope the rest of your ride was a bit less threatening.

My chain broke at the top of Theobalds, had to walk all the way down to Gray's Inn Rd, drop off the P.O.B. then walk to Condor to buy a new chain*. Thank fuck it broke when I was riding slowly into a headwind rather than shooting down the Piccadilly underpass at 30mph.

*It had reached its time to pass, the thing was rotten.

Just spotted Gus again. This time smiling to himself at some wobbly hipster ss conversion attempting a tarck stand next to him at the lights at Angel.

Yep, it is usually the way i commute. i've seen you a couple of times, on various bikes. I look like a nodder on my commute, so you probably didn't even notice i was riding fixed. I save my hispter fashion cycling clothes for the weekend!
