If you're seriously asking for tips on riding brakless, forget about it for a while. If you must, ride with a brake for a while and practice, umm, not using it, safe in the knowledge its there when you do need it. After around 3 years, and only after you have bought and sold at least 3 phil wood hubs and/or H+ Son rims, remove it.
