I confess I never watched the Rescuers, Betty

This day, last year.
In Berlin's famous TV tower, I punched a small German child squarely in the face thinking he was an irritating companion. Brief attempts at placation failed so I simply melted into the throng putting my back firmly to his bloodied and tear streaked face.
His face haunts my dreams.

When I was 7 years old I honestly believed that there was only 1 company that made bicycles.

When I was of an age that should have known better (15) I thought that Inexcess and INXS were two different bands.

Not really a confesion of mine, but on a similar note, I knew a girl who was 19 when she was told stevie wonder was blind...

I confess I saw INXS live when I went to see Queen live at Knebworth. I also confess that despite seeing 100s of bands live Queen are still the best live act I've ever seen.

I did that in Turkey years ago, off a boat. The Turkish boatman said "that's bad luck", meaning I had been unfortunate (it rolled of the deck through a drainage hole, which it had at best a 1 in 4 chance of finding). It turns out his comment was more prescient than I realised at the time.
