I always hope that as adults we wouldn't need to be treated as children.
Besides, what would it stop? All it would do is make people say cun7 or kunt or something... so instead of removing anything we'd just end up with unreadable gibberish all over the place. Not to mention what happens if you come from Scunthorpe... Smimsyhorpe?
Filters and censorship of words just doesn't work. They're absolutely ineffective as technical tools and they're absolutely pointless in trying to prevent people swearing. Given that we don't have minors on the site I see no issue with swear words so long as when they are used they are clearly and obviously attributable to the cunt that says them (i.e. that they're not in thread titles where they reflect on the community more than the individual).
