briefly rode alongside a geared beardy courier heading north up Bishopsgate and then Shoreditch High Street around 1.30pm just as the horizontal hail was beginning to sting hard. i said "nice weather", he agreed, and i powered off east. was in a hurry to get home. glad for his sake that the hail relented...
