Just cancelled my order for the bars with Wiggle as they lied and don't have any in stock... are your bars the OS version?

...I saw one for the very first time tonight, heading south on the OKR. I can't lie, it really did look beautiful.
I saw my first on in the flesh last night and thought the opposite. Looked really cheap. The world would be a dull place if we all liked the same things though.

You're just daring me to reveal my sexual preferences aren't you?
Nevermind, I'll keep it secret....and no-on will ever know.

my mate's one:
he says it's fast and turns heads :)
I'm the owner of that langster. tbh, it looks better in real life, that pic kinda sucks.
I've swapped the dropdowns for risers making a massive difference in comfort (dropdowns hurt your wrists because of the angle you hold them). The bike is awesome to ride tho, def outclasses more expensive bikes.

If it makes you happy, nice. I'll stick with the Condor though thanks.

Those 'dropdowns' may hurt your wrists because you are possibly holding them on the top curves where they are not designed to be held. Would be worth trying a drop bar designed for the road. The bars on the Langster are a track curve which stops the tops getting in the way of your wrists when standing and holding the drops which makes them horrible to use on the road (unless riding in the drops).
The problem may also be compounded by the frame being on the small side. You have a fair bit of seatpost for a horizontal frame which causes the saddle bar drop to be increased.
But none of that matters if you are happy with the ride now, just don't go into interior design with that 'sense' of colour matching :-)

Hi guys, new here, but a long time lurker.............I am after a steel fixie for road work and stumbled across this thread........I love the look of this.
(I'm also trying to get some posts in so I can get out of the 'nursery' ;o) -

kerley, don't forget that the top tube length is more important than the seat tube though,

Track dropbars are really bad for longer rides, tried it myself and it wasnt very pleasant.
They look great but unless you live next door to the coffee shop i say nay. -

Yeah just over the bridge round the back of bushy park...
There is a small cafe run by the guys there as well!
More to the point, anyone know anything about that bike shop?
There seemed to be loads of carbon road bike and stuff, I got scared.. haaThat'll be Sigma Sport. No need to be scared, they are a nice bunch in there. Apart from the mechanics.

Thanks Andy!

Your mate's a Langster? Good luck when it's his round...
-

Don't be fooled. You are buying a decidedly average steel frame finished off with the parts of a regular langster. Wheels generally buckle if looked at funny, brakes are pap etc. They are ok and better than most of the crap specialized come out with nowadays, but see one in the flesh and the quality is not as some ppl seem to be describing. I sell them for a living so should know! The problem isn't really the frame but the parts that specialized spec on their bikes nowadays (for show/ noticably cheaper than days gone by)

Saw one this morning, heading north on the OKR. Rider was tall, slim guy, red long-sleeved top, darkish blue, long but snug strides.
Good pedalling action. Anyone on here? Looked pretty standard, ie. no major changes. Pretty. -
