Clearly ridden by a clydesdale. He's gone and bent the back of the saddle. That's the problem with carbon and being fat, kids.

Not at all. You sound quite complementary about them.

Took a chance and ordered on of these: Arrived this morning. FSA Gossamer with bottom bracket all for £27.95!!
Look on the Tredz website now and they are £227.95.
OOppppss.
Only trouble is I can't find an adapter to fit BB30 to a standard 68mm bottom bracket.
Looks like I'll have to bung it on e bay.I was going to do it and wondered whether they would correct...it took almost two days to do it?
what is the problem with the BB, I fancied those cranks ?

The BB30 system requires special frames with a larger BB shell, so that the external BB system can work. So you could get an adapter for a BB30 frame to use a normal BB, but not the other way round.
I nearly made the same mistake.
Nice bit of kit for a good price, though... just not very useable for most people

don't want to spoil the feeling of having a good deal - you clearly have - but Koga's are among the most frequently offered bikes in the Netherlands (that's why the Dutch bike nuts never seem to take notice). Plenty of bargains still to be had on www.marktplaats.nl
example: http://link.marktplaats.nl/319057259
takes bids from 40 euros because it's in the way in his garage...

ahh... I thought it was a standard outboard bearing system like the shimano, which means even though it is a pretty crank would be useless to me...thats pleasing, I went back to the website about 5 times before they updated the price...
thats worked out well...

Yeah, bit of a bummer. Still if it makes me a profit on e bay all good in the end.

Anyone know if it's really built by Kitchin?
Saw a similar Coca Cola frame last year but couldn't find any info about it.

Now I feel bad :(
Just kidding - I guess there's always better deals around the corner. At least spare parts should be easy to find then ;)

The BB-30 "adaptor" is included on some bikes due to the expense of the cranks compatible with the bb-30 (I think the SL Alumn. are around $750..) so it is cheaper for the companies to include more mainstream cranks... Now as to your question. There is a sleeve in the bottom bracket right now that is allowing your threaded BB to fit. That can be pressed out with the correct tools (any Cannondale dealer should have these) and this would allow you to fit your BB30 Style cranks in.
Not sure if these posts help but this comment suggests you can use a standard bb ...at a cost

I have read that a bb30 crank fits as standard shell using zipp cups .I don't know what they are though!!
