Anyone who claims that they have done nothing wrong because they were simply following the rules should be removed from office as they must have known it was wrong, but they did it anyway. Expenses are only there so the public think that their local MP isn't earning that much as his salary is known to all and this is how they topped up their salaries on the sly that no one knew about, what happened is that they all became complacent and they got greedy and got caught.
