Wanted: 1"/ Oversize Stem

Looking for a short stem (70mm or shorter) taking Oversize handlebar and 1" steerer. Thx.

I think that will be pretty hard to find, but you can just use any 1 1/8" stem you like with a shim for the steerer.

Thx. Any advice if the shim is gonna make the system considerably weaker?

It will be fine once you do the stem up - if you're really concerned about strength/stiffness then a 1 1/8 steerer will be better, but will require serious part replacement!
