Wanted: Steel Frame (1 1/8" steerer tube)

Posted on
  • I'm looking to purchase a frame ( 1 1/8" steerer tube), around 56cm sizing (can be different if close enough)
    I am building a basic trick bike so I'm looking for something that is known to be sturdy.
    I Have a budget of £140
    Looking for something like a Fuji Track, Kona Paddy Wagon, Charge plug, Specialized Langster (i know its not steel) etc...
    Show me what yah got.
    Thanks.

  • Where's that image of the gazelle chewing pocorn when you need it?

  • You what?
    I sense an egotistical e-peen about.

  • Steady on dear boy. No need to be rude. I'm sure all manner of suitable frames will be proffered in due course.

  • does it have to be drilled for a brake?

  • £140 for a new frame? you'll need to cough up a bit more I'm afraid.

  • @Slim jim, No i ride brakeless
    @edscoble, I'm only after a 2nd hand frame (no forks) so i don't see why 140 shouldn't be enough ...

  • cheeky scallywag, you edit your post originally asking for a **new **frame.

  • Thanks to your post i realised that it was misleading.
