hey sorry for the late repost, very nice frameset, but may i dare to ask - are you going to put risers on it or some proper pursuit bars? :)
I really fancied putting some drops on but, I think I'm going to stick with risers to start....

Drops on a low pro!? you fucking insane or just very bendy?
Get some bullhorns or risers. -

steves thats frickin awesome you designed your own ti frame! how much did the manufacturing + postage cost?
++++ That is fucking lush. Yes, please post up cost. Would be interesting to see how a cyclefit + this method compares to a Burls Ti.

Get some bullhorns or risers.I tend generally ride on the flat section of drops anyway, so it wouldn't be that back braking...
Form over function is definitely a contributing factor though; I think it would look mean with some track drops

Started with this drawing from my dimensions sent to XACD in China:
Really annoyingly I had to spend the day at work, but as soon as I got home everything was stripped off the Le Mond, and a few hours and much swearing later:
It's now 1.30 am so I've only ridden up the road....tomorrow'll tell me what she's like!Nice!
How do you rate the quality? Did the BB thread in OK, and the headset fit snuggly?
Really curious. Please post a short review of the ride quality .My xacd frame has just arrived also.
I may have got carried away with the custom aspect :-/Pics or it did'nt happen.

@Aroogah, the isp is relatively sensible.
Oh, did you go for the ISP in the end? I demand that you do a metric ton on it, 'bareback', and post you evaluation of comfort.
I was thing of getting one of these for adjustability.

Not 100% sure if they are 7600s, but they look the same.
This is exactly the prob I had. If you look long enough you will see that the ppl recomend from 108 - 109.5mm in increments of 0.5mm.
....now we can add 107mm to the list ; )This ^
As I was paying the money and hoping I won't have to change the BB for a while I took the cranks and wheel to BLB and got them to get chainline perfect. Plus the Phil tools are £10 each... so basically I'll never know what BB you need ; )
For future reference, Shimano %20Crankset%20and%20BB%20Combination%20Chart.pdf)says that the 7600 matches a 109mm BB.
Anyway, by all accounts Phil BBs perform as nicely as the look. I hope you're happy with your purchase. -

picked up another geared bike, a 61cm Colnago Bititan, this thing is incredibly light, when i picked up the frame the guy also gave me a record titanium derailleur front and back and the titanium levers, very nice guy!
Need some cranks, and some bits. I think i am going to polish the frame and put some decals on it

Here's my tourer built up (sans tape) at the Barbican, which was oddly horizontal that day.

It looks beautiful Steve. I hope it rides as well as it looks. :-)
