    Well to be honest it's not an option now, an officer needs a court order to delete images from your camera, it is absolutely and unambiguously illegal for them to do so with out that court order - after all what exactly is the point of deleting images? If they really think you are a terrorist then what they are doing is standing in the street with a terrorist destroying the evidence against him.

    It is also only under 'exceptional circumstances' that an officer has even got the right to view at the images on your camera.

    None of this, as you already know, stops officers from deleting your images, video footage - there is little you can do.
